Hi and welcome to the first post in a new series of information and just loads of stuff which has been happening in London and the UK really. Today I would like to talk about the locksmith sticker scam.
Whats been happening is people in London have been finding these Locksmith 24/7 stickers stuck on their front doors, garage doors, letterboxes and elsewhere but when you dial the number that is on the sticker it is not actually a real number. Apparently thieves use the stickers to identify vulnerable houses without good security or vulnerable/elderly residents living there so its easier for other thieves to know making the property an easy target.
I would recommend removing the stickers, calling the police and maybe enhancing your home security!
